Shropshire is a county in the West Midlands of England, bordering Wales to the west. It is one of England's most rural and sparsely populated counties, known for its rolling hills, the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the Ironbridge Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
